Ingredients

Amount Ingredients
3 cupsChana Daal
1 cupChopped Onion
2 tbspChopped Coriander
2Chopped Green Chilli
1/4 cupGrated Coconut
2 tbspRed Chili Powder
1/2 tbspFenugreek
2 tbspSalt

Preparation

  • Soak chana daal in water for around 6 hours.
  • Take 1/2 cup of this soake mixture and keep it separate.
  • Grind the remaining portion coarsely without adding water
  • Mix the ground dough with the remaining soaked dal, onion, coriander, chili, coconut, fenugreek, chili powder, and salt.
  • Heat oil in pan, make patties of the dough and fry until it turns golden and crispy.

Condiments

Serve with cilantro or mint chutney or tomato ketchup
