Ingredients

Amount Ingredients
1 literMilk
1/2 cupUncooked Rice
1 1/2 cupSugar
4Cardamoms
10Almonds
15Pistachio
4-5 dropsRose water

Preparation

  • Soak rice in water for two hours.
  • Drain water and dry thoroughly.
  • Grind the rice until the rice is finely powdered.
  • Bring milk to boil on high flame.
  • Stir continuously to avoid cream forming on top.
  • Reduce heat and add powdered rice and sugar, stirring continuously for 15 minutes till thickened.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add rose water and cardamom powder after cooling to room temperature.
  • Pour into a bowl and sprinkle grated almonds and pistachios on top.
  • Cover with silver foil and set under refrigeration for at least two hours before serving.
