Ingredients

1/2 lbPaneer
1/2 lbGreen Peas
2Medium choppped tomatoes
1Chopped Onion
2 tbspMinced Ginger
2-3Garlic Pieces
1/2 tspTurmeric
1/2 tspAsafoetida
1/2 tspRed Chili Powder
1 tspGaram Masala
1/2 tspSalt
1 tbspOil

Preparation

  • Boil the green peas till they are soft.
  • Cut paneer into square pieces of desired size and deep fry in oil. Keep aside.
  • Heat the oil, put ginger and garlic. Also add chopped onion and heat and sautee till the onion is translucent.
  • Cook for few minutes on slow flame and then add red chilli powder and garam masala.
  • Add the peas and again cook for a minute.
  • Add little water and cook till it forms a gravy of enough consistency.
  • Put the fried paneer pieces in the gravy and little butter if desired.
  • Serve hot and garnish with coriander leaves
