What to See
The monuments of interest here include 800 years old Imam Nasir's Mausoleum, Devi Talab, a tank (200 year old) and a 400 years old Jama Masjid.
Another tourist attraction is Shiva Mandir dating back to the Lodhi era.
Nakodar has a historical tomb of the early 17th century. One of the tombs is of Mohd. Momin Hussaini alias Hafizah. He was a renowned musician during the reign of Jehangir.
Kapurthala
18 km from Jalandhar, is Kapurthala, believed to have been built in the 13th century.The city has a Panch Mandir, a Hindu Temple built by a Sikh and a famous mosque designed by a French architect in the Moorish style.

Birthday of Guru Nanak Dev and Guru Gobind Singh is celebrated in November / December. A classical music festival and Harbhalab Fair are celebrated in December.
